Dear Samantha and family...
I don't know if you remember me but I was your Girl Scout leader a day or two ago. I am so sorry to read of this...you had a very sweet family. Life is so quick and I'm so sorry for your loss.
We are never ready but we live for the day to see our loved ones again.... Truly...Lani Wallace

Nome, Samantha and Toni,
We are so sorry for your loss. "Mr Scott" (what our girls called him) was a truly unique person. Never saw anyone that was always working so hard out in his yard or doing some outdoor project. We used to always question "Does this guy ever go inside?" I just thihnk projects and nature were some of the components of his "happy place." We will always be so grateful for him plowing our driveway in the winter......he would never take $$ but we could recipricate by giving him Girl Scout cookies for grandkids. He was a giver.......and he looked out for others.... didn't matter who you were.. Love and prayers always-The Petzel's.

I am sorry for your loss. I will always be thankful for the time I spent with Scott. He was a truly a unique individual with a love of family,friends,God and country. As an avid reader and thinker he taught me much about life and what is important. A truer friend you will never find.
