ALBANY – Former Albany resident Stacie Lorrane Bell, age 47, Muncie, passed away Saturday April 8, 2023 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Born June 11, 1975 in Columbia, South Carolina, she grew up in Dunkirk and went to Blackford High School. She lived in Albany for several years before moving closer to Muncie. Stacie worked at Pizza King in the surrounding areas as an Area Supervisor for 13 years and was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Albany Health Care for a few years. She loved being with her daughters and spending time with family, reading, writing, drawing, and taking pictures. She also participated in the Albany Alzheimer’s Walk every year.
Survivors include her daughters: Mackenzie and Mackenna Bell, Muncie; twin sister: Stephanie Bell (Tony Clegg), Muncie; sister: Sonia Bell (fiancé: Christopher Robinson), NC; nephews: Jacob Bell, Nathaniel Clegg, and Jayden Morey; nieces: Kayla and Quinn Bell; cousins: Scott and Sabrina Phillips; and beloved furry friend: Gracie Lou.
She is preceded in death by her father: Stephen W. Bell and mother: Sandra K. (Gable) Dykes; brother: Stephen W. Bell II; grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Meacham Funeral Service. Cremation will follow.
Visiting hours are Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
