Marsha L. (Grove) Tarr, age 68, Albany, died Thursday January 12, 2023 at home surrounded by her family after fighting a brief battle of recurrent cancer. Born in Muncie on October 30, 1954, she was a lifelong resident of Delaware County and a 1972 graduate of Delta High School. Marsha worked for Rock-Tenn, Eaton, for 27 years and retired in 2015 from Anchor Glass, Winchester, after working there 13 years. She enjoyed puzzles, books, going to craft shows, anything involving her grandchildren, and being a home body.
Survivors include daughters: Dawn N. Crawley (husband: Brian), Eaton, and Chelsie L. King (husband: Joe), Muncie; brother: Phil D. Grove, Sr. (wife: Janet), Albany; grandchildren: Jessica White (fiancé: Braxton McCoin), Shelby White, Zian Crawley, Xander Crawley, Malachi King, Alexander King, and Tatelynn King; great-grandchildren: Averiana Jester, Lane Jester, Elias Jester, Luke McCoin, Alexis McCoin, and several nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 40 years, Larry; parents: Gerald & Amy (DeHaven) Grove, sisters: Janice Summers and Charlotte Powers.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2023 at Meacham Funeral Service with burial following at Strong Cemetery. Rev. Timothy King will officiate.
Friends and family may call Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
