REDKEY – Letha Henry, age 88, formerly of Redkey, died Thursday January 25, 2018 at Albany Health Care & Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. Born in Dunkirk on May 27, 1929, she was the daughter of Don Virgil Henry and Alice (Overla) Henry. She attended Redkey High School and worked at Jay Garment in Portland for thirty years before retiring in 1982. In earlier years she worked at Hampton’s Bakery in Redkey. Letha was a past member of Redkey Nazarene Church.
Survivors include a brother: Delnor Henry (wife: Penny), Albany; a sister: Sandy Kaufman (husband: Charles), Dunkirk, and two sisters-in-law: Sue Henry, Albany, and Marcella Henry, Dunkirk.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: William Henry and Virgil Henry, and four sisters: Alice Henry, Elnora Rees, Joan Henry, and Janet Henry.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 29, 2018 at Little Salamonie Cemetery located south of Portland. Burial will follow.
