Cynthia K. “Cindi” Hale, age 62, Ridgeville, died Tuesday November 15, 2022 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an illness of three months. Born in Muncie on May 16, 1960, she grew up in the Yorktown area and attended Yorktown High School. Cindi was a rural carrier with the United States Postal Service for the past 11 years and was a former Green Township Trustee. She belonged to the Delaware County Pool League and enjoyed playing golf, BINGO, shopping, and taking care of the goats, dogs, and swimming pool.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Hale; son: Christopher Wallace (wife: Brandy), Muncie; daughters: Tasha Swhier (husband: Bronson), Redkey, and Kisha Johnson (husband: Mitchell), Alexandria; father: Ronald Warren, Denver, CO; sisters: Martha Griffin (husband: Ed), Hartford City, and Toni Newlin (husband: Doug), Upland; grandchildren: Austin Swhier, Serenity Swhier, Dustin Wallace, Brandon Wallace, Xavier Wallace, Zander Johnson, and Isabelle Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her mother: Judith (Gibson) Mitchell and a brother: Mike Cassell.
A celebration of life will take place 3 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Meacham Funeral Service. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery.
Visiting hours are Sunday from 1 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
