Bobbie Bertram

Bobbie Bertram, age 62, Dunkirk, died Sunday May 14, 2023 at home following a brief unexpected illness.  Born in Muncie on June 18, 1960, she grew up in Delaware County.  Bobbie graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1978 and from Muncie School of Practical Nursing in 1985 to become a Licensed Practical Nurse.  She was an L.P.N. at Hickory Creek in Gaston for several years and in retirement worked for the Jay County School Corporation in the cafeteria.  Bobbie had a great love for family and enjoyed attending any event that her grandchildren participated in – particularly softball and baseball.  She enjoyed helping others and was a member of Order of The Eastern Star in Muncie.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Brian Bertram, and their daughter: Landra Fraley (husband: Doug, Jr.), Redkey; parents: James “Barnie” & Mary E. (Burnett) Stephens, Dunkirk; sister: Stephanie Dargo (husband: Joe), Yorktown; grandchildren: Madyson Fraley, Redkey, and Camden Fraley, Redkey; best friend: Debbie Brant, Dunkirk.

She is preceded in death by 2 brothers: Mark Stephens and Barnie Stephens, and her first husband: Lester Paul Dunkin.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023 at Meacham Funeral Service with burial following at Union Cemetery, Eaton.

Visiting hours are Friday from 12 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
