DUNKIRK – Wilma Jean Rouch, age 91, Dunkirk, died Monday afternoon at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a short illness. Born in Hartford City on August 27, 1926, she grew up in Redkey and attended Redkey High School. She enjoyed taking care of her home and playing cards with the West Jay Community Center Euchre Club. She attended Calvary United Methodist Church, Dunkirk, and in former years belonged to the Richland Merry Mixers Home Economics Club.
She is survived by her daughter: Christy Curts (husband: Al), Dunkirk, and several nieces & nephews including special niece: Judy Gordon (husband: Bill), Muncie.
Her husband, Edward E. Rouch, died in 1989. Also deceased are her parents: Ralph & Gladys (Fuqua) DeVoe, a brother: Ralph "Junior" DeVoe, and a sister: Vera Mae Woodard.
Services will be 12 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Dunkirk. Burial will follow at the Dunkirk IOOF Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the church.
Memorials may be sent to Calvary United Methodist Church or West Jay Community Center for senior activities.
