William A. Miller, 86, Muncie, died Sunday July 21, 2024 at home following an extended illness.  Born in Rochester, Indiana on June 15, 1938, Bill grew up in Akron (Indiana).  He was a graduate of Gilead High School in Miami County and received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from International Business College, Ft. Wayne.

Bill worked in the warehouse for Kresge, Ft. Wayne, for 32 years before retiring in 1994.  Following retirement he moved to Sevierville, TN and after 14 years came to Delaware County.  He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and jig saw puzzles.  In earlier years he belonged to Bulldog Club (and showed bulldogs), the Masonic Lodge, Mizpah Shriners of Ft. Wayne, and Wells County Tri Sports.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Betty Miller, and their daughter: Billie Newsome (husband: Dennis), Albany; 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

His parents: William K. & Helen (Young) Miller and daughter: Debbie Logan are deceased.

Private services will be held at Meacham Funeral Service with burial following at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Dunkirk.
