MUNCIE – Warren F. Hazlett, age 79, Muncie, died Sunday morning at Ball Memorial Hospital. Born in Caribou, Maine on February 22, 1931, he was the son of Austin & Erie (Burgess) Hazlett. He lived in New York for several years before moving to Indiana this year. While living in New York Warren worked at Wegman's Grocery before retirement. He was a skilled woodsman.

Survivors include his nephews: Ed Hazlett (wife: Michelle) and their daughter Autumn, Ridgeville, Donald Hazlett (wife: Lisa), Rochester, NY, and Ricky Hazlett (wife: Lisa), Rochester, NY, and a niece: Tammy Hazlett, Rochester, NY. Other nieces & nephews also survive along with his sister-in-law: Madeline Gartz, Rochester, NY.

He is preceded in death by Linda Hazlett who he was married to for several years; his parents are also deceased.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Meacham Funeral Service, Albany. A memorial service will be held at a later date in New York.
