MUNCIE – Vincent Stults, age 52, Muncie, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday morning at home following an illness of five months.  He now is the owner of a new body and is with His Savior and lover of his soul. Born in Bluffton on Nov. 17, 1963, he grew up near Bryant and was a 1982 graduate of Jay County High School.  He also received a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University and was working on his second Masters degree.  Vince was currently working a graduate assistantship at Ball State Digital Corps. and owned his own business.  He was an assistant pastor at Muncie Alliance Church for over a decade. One of the great joys of his life was working with and teaching in the business and ministry training program at Muncie Alliance. Vince loved learning and teaching. He was a musician and lover of creating and encouraging community among the Body of Christ. He and his family attended Commonway Church in Muncie during his last years.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Connie Stults, and their children: Joel Stults, Cassia Stults, Simeon Stults, Zofia Stults, and Tirzah Stults; his parents: Larry & Diana Stults, Bryant; Connie's mother: Mary Stage (husband: Herb), New Castle; Connie's father: Mike Stephens (wife: Helen), New Castle; Connie's step-mother: Judi Baugh (husband: Randy), Greenville; his siblings: Angie Maxim (husband: Jamie), Chicago, Malissa Garrison, Yorktown, and Dewayne Stults, Portland; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Harley Geesaman and his maternal grandmothers, Marjorie and Alta, and his paternal grandparents, Clyde Dorwin and Marie Stults.

Private services will be held on Wednesday at Meacham Funeral Service with burial following.

A celebration of life service will be 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, June 18 at Muncie Alliance Church.
