Vickie Beavers, age 75, of Dunkirk, Indiana, passed away on April 28, 2026, at IU Hospital in Muncie.

Vickie spent the majority of her life in Dunkirk, Indiana, alongside her beloved husband of 48 years, Noah Beavers whom she married on March 11, 1967. Early in their marriage, they lived in Jolo, West Virigina for a short period of time. Following his passing, she relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, to be with her daughter. Elizabeth “Beth Ann” Dickinson. More recently, Vickie returned to Indiana to be closer to her extended family. Over the years, she was a dedicated employee at both Peyton’s Northern and Miller’s Merry Manor.

Vickie will be fondly remembered for her selfless care for others and her unwavering love for her family. She had a heart full of compassion, always putting the needs of those she loved before her own. Vickie’s deep bond with her family was evident in everything she did, from the joy she found in family gatherings to the special memories she created during vacations. Her love, kindness, and devotion will be missed but never forgotten.

She is survived by her loving daughters: Toni Wyatt (husband Calvin) of Hartford City, IN and Elizabeth "Beth Ann" Dickinson (husband Beau) of Callahan, FL. Her legacy also lives on through her grandchildren, Matthew Ward (Edith), Merissa Ward (Phillip), and Cole Dickinson, as well as her great-grandchildren, Madilynn and Elizabeth. She also leaves behind her brothers, Albert Jones of Dunkirk, Richard "Rick" Jones (wife Carol) of Dunkirk, Phillip Jones of Madison, and Kenneth Jones (wife Jennifer Hyer) of Dunkirk, along with her sister, Betty Vaughn of Dunkirk.

Vickie was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Noah Beavers; her parents, Henry and Nora (Croucher) Jones; her brothers, Tom, George, Henry Robert "Bobby," James Arthur "Ark," Earl, and infant Walter Leroy Jones; and her sisters, Jane Wolfe, Ann Marie Regnault, and Agnes Moore.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday May 9, 2026 at Meacham Funeral Service followed by graveside services at Dunkirk I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
