Tristan Michael Goodman, age 18, Selma, died Saturday October 18, 2025 following an automobile accident in Delaware County.  Born in Muncie on January 3, 2007, Tristan attended Yorktown High School and the Muncie Area Career Center.  He was a groundskeeper at Prairie Creek Reservoir and did various work on the side.  Tristan enjoyed working on bicycles and cars, listening to the radio, playing basketball, and being with family & friends.  He also loved to fish and watch sunrises & sunsets.

Survivors include his girlfriend, Jena Lower, Alexandria; mother: Amber Piper (partner: Larry Snyder), Indianapolis; paternal grandmother: Betty Goodman, Selma; maternal grandparents: Elvis Whitaker and Teresa Whitaker, Yorktown; step-mother: Tracy "Gabby" West (partner: Larry Moles), Selma; brother: Landon Goodman, Yorktown; sisters: Aliyah Freeman (husband: Dakota), WI, Faith Piper (partner: Devin Bright), Muncie, and Hailey Piper (boyfriend: Owen Harris), Muncie; aunts & uncles including Scott & Michelle Whitaker and Mark "Tweety" & Stephanie Goodman, Selma, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father: Michael "Jive" Goodman; paternal grandfather: Jack "Boots" Goodman, and three uncles.

Services will be 6 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2025 at Meacham Funeral Service.  Cremation will take place with burial at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Muncie.

Visiting hours are Friday from 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
