DUNKIRK – Terry E. Bright, age 65, died Sunday night at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. Born in Troy, OH on Dec. 15, 1946, she was a resident of Dunkirk for most of her life. Terry attended Dunkirk High School and had worked at Liggett Greenhouse & Floral Shop for several years until she retired in 2005 due to health reasons. She was a member of the Dunkirk Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed camping & working with flowers, including silk arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Tim Bright; her father: William A. "Bill" Winks, Dunkirk; 2 daughters: Tammy Schaffer (husband: Bill), Lafayette, and Stephanie Dillingham (husband: Brad), Ridgeville; a step-daughter: Chas Durham (husband: Buddy), Portland; 6 grandchildren: Kyle Schaffer (wife: Kari), Brandon Dillingham, Keegan Schaffer, Kami Dillingham, Kayla Durham, and Blade Durham; also, 1 great-grandchild: Kale Schaffer.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jane Winks, and a grandchild: Christian Durham.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany, with burial following at the Dunkirk I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
