Terry L. Vaughn, age 68, Dunkirk, died Tuesday October 3, 2023 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an illness of five months.  Born in Portland on April 19, 1955, he grew up in Dunkirk and attended Dunkirk High School.  Terry worked over 30 years at Indiana Glass Co., Dunkirk as a hot-end specialist before retiring in 2004 from the Oklahoma plant.  He was also a glass consultant for the country of Thailand.  He was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time with family – especially his grandchildren, and his beloved dog: Toby.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Betty E. (Jones) Vaughn; sons: Terry Eugene Vaughn (wife: Jennifer), Dunkirk, Charles Vaughn (wife: Betty), Albany, and Paul Vaughn, Dunkirk; loving nephew: Bobby Wolfe (wife: Bobbi Jo), Dunkirk; brother: Bobby Vaughn (wife: Penny), Dunkirk; sisters: Barb Foy (husband: Larry), Dunkirk, and Wanda Little (special friend: Ty), Berne; 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Charles "Charlie" & Aldora Vaughn; brothers: J.R. Vaughn and Frankie Vaughn; sister: Louise Vaughn.

Visiting hours will be Friday October 6, 2023 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Meacham Funeral Service.  Cremation will follow with burial at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Dunkirk.
