Susie Oakley, 69, Albany, died unexpectedly Tuesday January 19, 2021 at home.  Born in Muncie May 2, 1951, she grew up in Albany and was a 1969 graduate of Albany High School.  She retired from Ferrellgas, Albany, after working there for over twenty years.  Susie was a homemaker & mother who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons: Mike Oakley, Albany, and Chad Oakley (wife: Sarah), Greenfield; two brothers: Steve Bishop (wife: Connie), McCordsville, and Dick Bishop (wife: Kay), Vandalia, OH; five grandchildren: Justin, Shelbi, Drew, Jake, and Will; longtime special friends: Judy & Mike McBeth, Albany.

She is preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Wayne Oakley; her parents: Jack L. & Meriam E. (Black) Bishop; father-in-law: James C. Oakley, and mother-in-law: Wanda Oakley.

Visiting hours will be held Friday January 29, 2021 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Meacham Funeral Service.
