Steve Burcham, age 63, formerly of Dunkirk and Albany, died unexpectedly Monday August 19, 2024 at his home in Hartford City.  Born in Muncie on April 26, 1961, he grew up in Yorktown and Albany and was a 1979 graduate of Delta High School.  Steve was a concrete finisher for many years.  He belonged to the Laborer's Union and enjoyed fishing, antiquing, music, being outside/sitting by the river, sharing God's word/going to church, animals, and taking pictures.

Survivors include his sons: Jason Burcham (wife: Kristy), Muncie, and Josh Burcham, Muncie; daughter: Katrina Wade (husband: Jeremy), Cape Coral, FL; brothers: Sean Burcham (wife: Linda), Dunkirk, Brian Burcham (wife: Denise), Albany, Todd Burcham (wife: Mary Jo), Dunkirk, and Chet Burcham (wife: Maria), Dunkirk; sisters: Julie Calhoun, Dunkirk, and Polly Boren (husband: Lael), Upland; grandchildren: Justin Burcham, Jacob Burcham, Xavian Wade, and Azayla Burcham; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father: Raymond D. "Ray" Burcham, Jr., mother: Marilyn Burcham, and granddaughter: Kyla Wade.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Meacham Funeral Service.  Cremation was chosen.

Visiting hours are Friday from 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
