ALBANY – Sherry D. (Farlow) Crawford, age 73, Albany, passed on to meet The Lord Thursday morning at Albany Health Care & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Anderson on April 19, 1942, she was a graduate of Anderson High School and Indiana Business College. She moved to Albany in 1995 and had worked for Hillcroft in Muncie for twenty years before retiring. Sherry also worked at the Jay County Surveyor's Office in Portland for five years. Her hobbies included crafts & ceramics and she was actively involved in church over the years including Rejoice Ministries and Full Gospel Temple.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 33 years, Fred Crawford; four sons: Bryan Wollam, Houston, TX, Mat McConnell (wife: Kristen), Albany, Jerry Wollam, Albany, and James McConnell (wife: Megan), Kokomo; two daughters: Tommie Danniels (fiancé: Boaz Ofek), Bluffton, and Carla Buckles, Muncie; a sister: Penny Sokal (husband: Bob), Anderson. She also has fifteen grandchildren whom were very dear to her heart and was expecting her first great-grandchild.
Her parents, Robert & Margaret Farlow, and two sisters: Bobbie Kay Fulkrod and Candy Joella Wollam, are already residing with The Lord.
Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Meacham Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Strong Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home in Albany.
