Shawn Duckworth, age 54, Dunkirk, died Wednesday October 24, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a year-long illness.  Born in Muncie on September 28, 1964, he grew up in Delaware County and was a 1983 graduate of Delta High School.  Shawn was a designer at Small Engine Warehouse in Muncie for ten years; special thanks is extended to the Padgett family and Shawn's co-workers for their friendship and support.

Shawn was a member of Avondale Sympathy Club.  He had a passion for classic cars and was a member of the Crown City Cruisers.  Besides working on cars, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and target shooting.

Survivors include his parents: Daniel & Rosalee Duckworth, Dunkirk; three aunts, an uncle, and several cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Shane Duckworth.

There will be no public services.  Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
