Sarah L. Schondelmayer, 95, formerly of Dunkirk, died Friday November 16, 2018 at Midtown Health and Rehabilitation Center, Memphis, Tennessee.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Sarah worked for over twenty years at Kerr Glass in Dunkirk and graduated from Dunkirk High School with the class of 1941.

Survivors include two sons: Dennis Fruitt, Olive Branch, MS and Douglas Fruitt, Memphis, TN; two step-sons: James Schondelmayer (wife: Lois), Atlanta, GA and Mark Schondelmayer (wife: Melissa), Tulsa, OK; a step-daughter: Debby Norris (husband: Pug), Albany; eight grandchildren: Kimberly Proffit (husband: Robert), Greg Fruitt (wife: Cindy), Mark Fruitt (wife: Amy), Kristi Sikorski (husband: Bob), Jennifer Fruitt, Lauren Fruitt, Daniel Bolin, Ethan Fruitt, and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Harold Schondelmayer; a son: Theodore E. Fruitt; a grandson: Brian Fruitt; two brothers: Otto & Harvey Moore, and a sister: Betty McCallister.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Dunkirk, with burial to follow.
