Sara E. Richards Limbert, age 81, Albany, died Wednesday December 26, 2018 at Albany Health Care & Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.  Born in Muncie on September 14, 1937, she was a graduate of Eaton High School.  Sara was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed golfing, cooking, and spending time with family.

Survivors include two sons: Scott Richards (wife: Debra), Muncie, and Stan Richards (wife: Carol), Albany; a daughter: Sandy Clark (husband: Allan), Albany; a brother: Keith Smoot (wife: Nancy), Eaton; a sister: Annabee MacIntire, Hartford City; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by two husbands, first: Cecil E. Richards, and second: Robert W. Limbert; parents: Roll & Hazel Smoot, and eight siblings.

A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 at Meacham Funeral Service.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Cremation was chosen; burial at Strong Cemetery will be at a later date.

Preferred memorials are to Alzheimer's Association.
