FARMLAND – Ruby Haisley, age 95, rural Farmland, died Thursday morning at Albany Health Care & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Hartford City on Jan. 31, 1918, she grew up near Redkey and graduated from Green Township High School in 1935. She also attended business college in Muncie. Ruby worked at the Farm Bureau Elevator in Albany until it closed and helped her husband on the family farm for several years. She was a Past Matron of Order of The Eastern Star – Teresa Chapter 237 and a member of Delaware Niles Home Ec. Club, Saddle Club, and Delaware County Farm Bureau.
Surviving is her husband of 73 years, Jack Haisley. She also has several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter G. & Maud Frazier; 2 brothers: Francis A. and Walter J. Frazier, and a sister: Elizabeth Kirkpatrick.
Private services will be conducted at the Union Cemetery chapel in Eaton. Burial will follow.
