ALBANY – Robert W. Limbert, age 78, Albany, died Monday April 23, 2012 at home following an illness. He was born in Ridgeville on July 26, 1933 and graduated from Ridgeville High School with the class of 1951. Robert worked at General Motors for over 30 years. In recent years he was always working on projects with his perfection to improve Albany Golf Club where he was a member. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and belonged to the American Legion Post 507, Ridgeville.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Limbert; a son: Tony Limbert (wife: Carol), Portland; 2 step-sons: Scott Richards (wife: Debbie), Muncie, and Stan Richards (wife: Carol), Albany; a step-daughter: Sandra Clark (husband: Allen), Albany; a sister: Josephine Sanders (husband: William "Junior"), Ridgeville; 4 step grandchildren, 5 step great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial services will be conducted at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
