MUNCIE – Robert E. Cannon II, age 39, Muncie, died Tuesday evening at Ball Memorial Hospital. Born in Muncie on January 21, 1972, he grew up in Albany and was a graduate of Delta High School in 1990. Robert worked at Georgia Pacific – Color Box, Richmond, while fighting cancer. He also did work for Williams Printing in Farmland. He enjoyed football, fishing, Wii golf, riding Harleys, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Tia Cannon, and their daughter, Sierra; 10 siblings: Beth Cannon, Susan Jarvis, Pamela Coats, Kimberly Riley, Jodi Streeter, Stan Eller, Dee Manor, Nancy Sluss, Angela Flowers, and Nikki Adams. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces/nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Joann Cannon.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday February 26, 2011, at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany, with burial following at Matthews Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Per Robert's request, the dress code is "jean's only".

Memorials may be directed to a college savings account for Sierra that will be established at Old National Bank.

Robert graciously donated his corneas to help two people see the world in a brand new way through the Indiana Lions Eye & Tissue Transplant Bank.
