CALEDONIA, MI – Former Delaware Co. Indiana resident Richard L. Milhollin, age 82, died Thursday afternoon at Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods, Byron Center, MI.  Born in Eaton, Indiana on Oct. 13, 1931, he attended Muncie schools and moved to Michigan in 1956.  He resided in Caledonia, MI for the past 8 years.  Richard was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War; he was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing & hunting.  He worked for Lear Siegler/Smiths Industries in Grand Rapids, MI for 40 years before retiring in 1996.

Survivors include 3 daughters: Diane Henry (husband: Roger), Grand Rapids, MI, Nancy Jaworowicz (husband: Jim), Lowell, MI, and Debra Ludwig (husband: Greg), Caledonia, MI; a son: Mike Milhollin (wife: Deb), Grant, MI; a sister: Natalie Mosier, Bluffton, IN; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Marilyn J. (Ford) Milhollin, who died in 2003.  Also deceased are his parents, 4 brothers, and a grandson.

We will all miss him; we love him and we'll never forget all the happiness he gave us and the great memories he left us.  May God bless him and keep him.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany, Indiana.  Burial will follow at Black Cemetery, Albany, with military services provided by Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
