ALBANY – Paul L. Taylor, age 64, Albany, died unexpectedly Monday November 20, 2017 at home from natural causes.  Born in Muncie on July 13, 1953, he grew up on the family farm where he lived all his life.  He graduated from Delta High School in 1972.  Paul was a lifelong farmer; it truly defined him.  He farmed most of his life and at one time operated a Black Angus dairy with his son, Andrew.  Paul was witty and a great story-teller.

Survivors include his wife, Debby, and their daughter: Heather Burris, Muncie; also, his mother-in-law: Virginia Lucas (husband: Lawrence, deceased), Muncie; a brother-in-law: Steve Lucas, Muncie, and several cousins.

His son, Andrew P. Taylor, died in 2009; his parents: Ferrell & Betty Taylor are also deceased.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Muncie, with burial following at Union Cemetery, DeSoto.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. at Meacham Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be sent to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church or Delta High School F.F.A. in memory of Paul.
