ALBANY – Paul D. Stout, age 69, Albany, died Wednesday afternoon at his brother's home in Albany.  Born in Portland on June 4, 1947, he grew up in Albany and was a 1967 graduate of Albany High School.  Paul worked for McGuff Roofing in Muncie for thirty-two years.  He belonged to the White Buffalo Society and was active in Boy Scouts of America and Order of The Arrow.  Along with his father they started an adult Boy Scout Troop (Troop 8) through Hillcroft in Muncie; all together, he was in scouting for sixty years.  Paul enjoyed photography and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity at one time.  He was a fifty-three year member of Albany United Methodist Church and also belonged to Covenant Partners Ministries, Muncie.

Paul is survived by his brother, Mark Stout (wife: Esther), Albany; a nephew: Brian Stout (fiancé: Brittany Huckeby), Muncie, and two nieces: Angie Starr (husband: Nick), Huber Heights, OH, and Christy Burge (husband: Rick), Muncie.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David S. & Carolyn (Jones) Stout, and a sister, Diann Stout.

Graveside services will occur at 12 p.m. on Saturday June 17, 2017 at Strong Cemetery, Albany.  A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Covenant Partners Ministries, Muncie.  Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to the service at the church.
