Patricia Sue "Pat" Grayson, age 89, Muncie, died Saturday June 15, 2024 at home following a sudden illness.  Born in Dunkirk on July 31, 1934, she grew up there and was a graduate of Dunkirk High School.  Patricia was a homemaker and did restaurant work as well as child care.  She enjoyed watching television, being with friends, and in earlier years she attended Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children: Andrea Greene (husband: Gib), Muncie, Brian Peterson, Muncie, Yvette Jill Swierc (husband: David), Crown Point, and John Scott Grayson (wife: Cari), Prior Lake, MN; sister: Martha Isenhart (husband: Carl), Albany; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 6 step-children, and several step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John T. Grayson, Jr., who died in 1989; parents: Murray & Geraldine (Lanning) Bantz; 2 grandsons: Christopher Rawlings and Justin Peterson; brothers: Don Bantz and Myron "Barney" Bantz; sister: Mary Louise Williams.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024 at Dunkirk Nazarene Church with Rev. Randy Davis officiating.  Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Dunkirk.

Visiting hours are Friday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church.

Memorials may be sent to Animal Rescue Fund (A.R.F.) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
