ALBANY – Heaven has its newest angel.  Patricia A. Bergdoll, age 82, left this earth on Thursday, September 6, 2012.  She was born on September 18, 1929 to Ewing and Leatha Barlow.  Patricia was a life-long resident of Albany and a graduate of Albany High School Class of 1947.  She married Robert (Bob) Bergdoll on June 17, 1950 and was blessed with a marriage that lasted 60 years before his passing in February, 2011.  Patricia or Patty as she was known by many, formerly worked at Albany Bakery, Eastside Grocery and Minars IGA.  She was a member of Albany Tri Kappa Sorority and attended Fairview Methodist Church.

She will be greatly missed by her son, Charles Bergdoll (wife: Jane), Albany, and daughter: Sharon Fullenkamp (husband: Chuck), Redkey; grandsons: Aaron Bergdoll (wife: Kellie), Ty Fullenkamp and Trent Fullenkamp; a granddaughter: Amanda Bergdoll; great-grandchildren: Gage Bergdoll, Chase Bergdoll and Cory & Connor Kissick.  She was Aunt Pat to many nieces & nephews, and she so enjoyed her luncheons with them.  She was also lucky to have wonderful neighbors on Maple Drive and was blessed with many friends, including life-long friend, Uarda Hines.

Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband and parents; a brother: John Barlow and a sister: Darla McDaniel Staton.

A funeral service to celebrate Pat's life will be held at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 9, 2012 with Pastor Randy Davis officiating.  Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery on Monday at 10 a.m.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be sent to Fairview United Methodist Church, Albany E.M.S. or An Albany Christmas.

*Mom, we will miss you more than you will know, however we take comfort knowing that you are now walking straight again and right up to Heaven to be reunited with Dad and other loved ones.
