ALBANY – Pat O'Bryant, age 77, Albany, died Tuesday evening at home following an illness.  Born in Muncie on Aug. 11, 1938, he graduated from Albany High School with the class of 1956.  Pat retired in 1994 from Kerr Glass (now Ardagh), Dunkirk, after working there 37 years.  He attended DeSoto United Methodist Church and was a former member of Albany Lions Club and Independent Order of Odd Fellows.  He enjoyed golfing, was an avid Delta sports fan, and belonged to Crown City Squares for 18 years.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patty O'Bryant, and their children: Renee Beaman (husband: James), Destin, FL, Neil O'Bryant, San Francisco, CA, and Amy Brenneisen, Muncie; brother: Sonny O'Bryant (wife: Linda), Albany; sister: Joetta Chambers (husband: Ray), Pinellas Park, FL; 3 grandchildren: Erik Crosier, Briana Price (husband: Jared), and Shalane Jaramillo (husband: Juan); 3 great-grandchildren: Harper Price, Henry Price, Javi Jaramillo, and several nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: George E. O'Bryant & Jacque H. (Ellis) Spence; 3 brothers: George, Mike, and Dan O'Bryant; 4 sisters: Clara Jacque O'Bryant (infant), Virginia Tilden, Cledah Scut, and Mary Porter.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at Meacham Funeral Service with burial following at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
