Ossie Shoopman, age 78, Redkey, died Saturday April 24, 2021 at home following an extended illness.  Born February 28, 1943 in Smokey Junction, Tennessee, she graduated from high school there and spent most of her life as a resident of Redkey.  Ossie retired from Saint Gobain (now Ardagh), Dunkirk, after working there 40+ years.  She enjoyed family and sports of all kinds and in earlier years bowled in a league.

Survivors include a niece: Relda Kunce (husband: Greg), Portland; nephew: Paul Shoopman, Jr. (wife: Lynn), Redkey; great-niece: Eryn Curtis, great-nephew: Owen Shoopman, great-niece: Shoshanna Grubbs, and several great-great nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother: Assie Shoopmam; brother: Paul Shoopman, Sr., and great-niece: Cheyanne Kunce.

There will be no services.
