Orval Lehman, age 82, died Friday July 18, 2025 at home following an extended illness.  He lived near Royerton since 1970.  Born in Muncie on September 14, 1942, he grew up in Albany, attended Albany schools, and graduated from Muncie Central High School.  Orval owned & operated Lehman International Truck Sales in Muncie for over 15 years before retiring.

Orval attended Center Chapel Church where he taught the Homebuilders Sunday school class.  He enjoyed golfing and was a trusted source for guidance to many.  Most especially, Orval cherished spending time with family.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 60 years, Barbara Lehman, and their daughter: Dee Ann Lehman, Muncie; brother: Bill Lehman, Albany; sisters: Patricia Weaver (husband: Bryan), Muncie, and Pam Lehman, Romeo, MI; grandchildren: Cory Fugett (wife: Marisa), Conner Lehman (girlfriend: Nygel), and Natalie Corcoran (husband: Evan); great-grandchildren: Camila, Cooper, Harper, Sawyer, and Claire; sister-in-law: Marilyn Shultz (husband: Rich), Hartford City; nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Wilbur & Thelma (Haffner) Lehman and brothers: Robert Lehman, Sr., Donald Lehman, Gary Lehman, Sr., and Dean Lehman.

Visiting hours are from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday July 23, 2025 at Center Chapel Church with the funeral beginning at 1 p.m.

Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery on Thursday July 24, 2025.  The procession will begin from Center Chapel Church at 1:30 p.m.
