Norman F. Arens, age 67, Albany, died at home on Saturday May 6, 2023 from natural causes.  Born in Muncie on July 31, 1955, he was a lifelong Albany resident and a 1973 graduate of Albany High School.  Norman worked as a carpenter for several years with Carpenters Local Union 1016.  He was a member of American Legion Post 167, Albany, AMVETS, and enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR.

Survivors include a son: Dylan Arens (wife: Ashley), Middletown; daughter: Brandy Arens McClaughry, Albany; sister: Sharen Unroe (husband: Dennis), Albany; grandchildren: Grace Foust, Gunner Foust, and Barrett Arens.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Richard L. "Dick" & Irma E. (Coons) Arens.

There will be no public services; cremation was chosen.
