ALBANY – Norma Jean Selvey, age 90, Albany, died Sunday morning at Morrison Woods Health Campus following an extended illness. She was born at home in Randolph County on April 14, 1921. Norma Jean went to Albany High School and was a member of Order of The Eastern Star – Halfway Chapter (Past Matron), 20th Century Club, Kitchen Queens Home Ec. Club; she attended Albany United Methodist Church as well.

Survivors include a son: Jerald W. Reynard (wife: Sheri), Albany; a daughter: Joyce A. Marks, Daleville; 5 grandchildren: Julie Graszl (husband: Steve), Nokomis, FL, Amy Minars (husband: Mike), Muncie, Joe Reynard, Bradenton, FL, Susan Marks, Peachtree City, GA and Kent Marks (wife: Marcie), Fayetteville, GA; 6 great-grandchildren, a niece and some nephews.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph W. Reynard, who died in 1968; her second husband, John M. Selvey, who died in 2006; a son: Jack Reynard, who died in 2006; her parents: David & Pauline Life and 2 sisters: Janyce Bousman and Phyllis Bowen.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany, with burial following at Black Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 11-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
