Obituary

ALBANY – Monica Marie Kimmerling was born in Muncie, Indiana on June 19, 1984; she died Monday July 23, 2012 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital from an extended illness.  She was 28 years of age.  Monica grew up in Albany and was a 2002 graduate of Delta High School where she was a member of the band and choral groups.  She lived in Hartford City and Eaton before recently moving to Muncie.  She was a former Girl Scout and Emergency Medical Technician who worked at various E.M.S. stations including Albany and Eaton.  She loved animals, crafts, and scrapbooking.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Dyer, Muncie; her father: Kevin Kimmerling (wife: Lori), Albany; her mother: Angie Oliver, Eaton; 2 brothers: Josh Kimmerling (girlfriend: Katie Turner) and Drew Kimmerling, both of Albany; 2 step-brothers: Joshua Downing (wife: Shana), Albany, and Craig Downing (wife: Carly), Anderson.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her son: Jacob Allen Privett.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday July 26, 2012, at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany.  Private burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Eaton food pantry c/o Eaton Church of God, 700 E. Harris St., Eaton, IN 47338.
