Michael E. Stocker, 55, Albany, died peacefully in his sleep Monday October 22, 2018 at home.  Born in Muncie on September 15, 1963, he grew up in Albany and was a 1981 graduate of Delta High School.  He worked at Miller Tire and Stuby Tire in Muncie for several years and delivered The Star Press newspaper for many years.  Mike was an avid pool player and poker player.  He was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, and NASCAR; his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr.  As a youngster he earned numerous trophies by racing go-carts.

Survivors include his mother, Jean Stocker, Albany; his brother: Darin Stocker (wife: Gwen), Albany, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

His father, Ralph "Ed" Stocker died in 2009.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Meacham Funeral Service.  Cremation will follow.  Burial will occur at Black Cemetery at a later date.

Visiting hours are Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
