Margaret Joan Shultz Manor (Joan Manor) from Muncie, Indiana (formerly from Redkey and Dunkirk, Indiana) died at IU Health Hospital on May 13, 2025 after a fall.

Joan was born in Redkey, Indiana on October 9, 1932 to Paul Shultz and Margaret Wallace Shultz.

Joan was married to Robert Jess Manor (Bob) on August 6, 1949.  Bob and Joan were married for 65 years before Bob's passing in 2014.  Joan had one sister, Mary Emma Young and three half-sisters, Paula Shultz Auker, Sue Ann Shultz McLaughlin, and Trish Shultz Moore.

Joan was mother to five children; Gary Manor (spouse, Glenda Bogue Manor), Andrea Manor Peterson (spouse, Nick Peterson), Robert Michael Manor (Mike) (spouse, Shawn Beatty Manor), Doug Manor (Gale Gustafson Manor) and Rodney Manor (deceased, 2012).  Joan is survived by 14 grandchildren; Matthew Manor, Amanda Manor Stotler, Amy Manor Vest, Nicole Peterson Adams, Natalie Peterson Proctor, Lisa Annette Peterson (deceased), Nathan Manor, Micah Manor, Kylie Manor Moye, Trevor Manor, Sydney Manor, Graham Manor, Jennifer Manor Langdon and Joanna Manor. Joan is survived by 44 Great-grandchildren, and 2, Great-great-grandchildren.

Joan and Bob were members of Mt Tabor United Methodist Church from their early marriage until the late 1970s. The Manor's then moved their membership to Grace Baptist Church in Muncie, Indiana.

The focus of Joan's life was serving her Savior, Jesus Christ and her family. All who knew her would acknowledge she was a kind and loving servant.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday May 20, 2025 at Meacham Funeral Service with burial following at Hill Crest Cemetery, Redkey.

Visiting hours are Tuesday from 12 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
