ALBANY – Claudia Lynn Jeffers, Albany, gave up her fight Saturday October 21, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.  She was 62.  Born in Sullivan, Indiana on December 20, 1954, she was the only child of David & Amy Hunter.  Lynn was a 1973 graduate of Delta High School and received a Bachelors of Science degree from Ball State University in 1988, majoring in Education.  She was a homemaker and former member of Tri Kappa sorority.  She enjoyed reading and at one time was a volunteer at the Albany Public Library.

Survivors include her husband of forty-three years, Kyle Jeffers, and their daughter: Kyla L. Bartle (husband: Dave III), Yorktown; also, her grandchildren: Alexis and Brooklyn Bartle.

Her parents, David R. & Amy R. Hunter, are both deceased.

A memorial service to celebrate Lynn's life will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Meacham Funeral Service with visitation from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Family and friends are encouraged and welcome to share a special memory of their time with Lynn.
