Lucas Ray Arnold, age 29, Albany, died unexpectedly Saturday October 9, 2021, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.  Born in Muncie December 30, 1991, he grew up in Albany and was a graduate of Delta High School.  Lucas was the owner/operator of TLA Mulch and often assisted his father with heavy machinery work.  Lucas enjoyed being with friends and family, taking care of Zena (his fur baby), camping, kayaking, taking vacations, and shopping at The Buckle.

Survivors include his life partner, Rick Luttrell, Albany; his father: Jeff Arnold, Albany, his mother: Janet Arlene Arnold, Muncie; a brother: Justin Arnold (wife: Brandy), Alburtis, PA; maternal grandparents: Willie Carson & Shirley K. Smith, Muncie; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

His paternal grandparents: Paul T. & Gloria M. Arnold, and brother: Travis Lee Arnold, are deceased.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Albany Christian Church.  Burial will follow at Strong Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. at Albany Christian Church and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be sent to Albany Police Department, Albany Fire Department, or Albany Emergency Medical Service in memory of Lucas.
