ALBANY – Linda Joy McConnell, age 68, Albany, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday May 26, 2016.  Born in Muncie on May 5, 1948, she was a 1966 graduate of Southside High School and lived in Muncie for many years before moving back to the family farm in Albany.  She was the office manager for doctors Alexander and Burt in Muncie for twelve years before retiring in 1994.  She was a member of Muncie First Baptist Church and was a wonderful loving grandmother who also loved her cats and animals.

Survivors include her son: Shannon McConnell, Albany, and Heather Kublnick (husband: Joshua), Muncie; a brother: Darryl Wineinger, Marion; three grandchildren: J.D. Kublnick, Adriana Kublnick, and Abigail Joy Kublnick; nieces, nephews, and close special friends: Pat, Connie, Sandy, and Linda.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed McConnell, and her parents: Norman & Dorothy Wineinger.
