Lawrence Lynn Brown, age 61, Albany, died Thursday night at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an illness.  After moving to Indiana, Larry lived in Alexandria before moving to Albany four years ago.  He was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator.

Larry enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, hunting, swimming, camping, and spending time with family.  He will be remembered as being a loving, caring, and honest man.

Survivors include his spouse, Randy Brown; sons: L.J. Brown, NC, and Austin Brown, NC; step-son: Jason Sanders (partner: Rick Garringer), Winchester; step-daughter: Ashley Weaver (spouse: Renn), Richmond; brothers: Donald Brown (spouse: Samantha), Durham, NC, Marvin Brown, Welch, WV, and Daniel McPeak, Ballard, WV; sisters: Loretta Hamilton (spouse: Bobby), Welch, WV, Yoven Johnson, Durham, NC, Wendy Poole, Rich Creek, VA, and Kathy Sizemore, Ballard, WV; step-grandchildren: Austin Price, Luke Sanders, Bryden Sanders, Mekay Cantrell, Faith Nichole Sanders, and Elijah Houston; nephew: Curtis Sizemore (spouse: Megan Scalf), Noblesville.

He is preceded in death by his adoptive parents: Grover & Phoeba (Mailon) McPeak and step-daughter: Nevaeh Grillo.

There will be a private family gathering followed by cremation.
