Kevin Lee Brown, age 57, Albany, died Saturday October 5, 2024 at home following an illness.  Born in Indianapolis on May 21, 1967, he grew up there and was a graduate of Emmerich Manual High School (class of 1985).  Kevin loved his job as a truck driver; he drove for multiple companies including Walmart.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Glad Tidings Church, Muncie, where he served as a greeter and usher.  He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and golfing.  Kevin mowed at Albany Golf Club for two seasons.  He was a man who thrived being outdoors, being around people, and having fun with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Brown, whom he married October 28, 2017; daughters: Amanda Roy (husband: Ed), Clinton, IA, Holly Surette (husband: Andrew), Casper, WY, Jessica Minner (partner: Eron Davis), Muncie, and Gracie Minner, Muncie; mother: Karen Kay (Harvey) Brown Manley, Indianapolis; brother: Mark Brown, GA; sister: Sherri Dillon, Indianapolis; grandchildren: Kacie Roy, Karah Roy, and Zamanii Dodson; several nieces & nephews also survive.

He is preceded in death by his father: David Arthur Brown, twin brother: Keith Brown, and sister: Valerie Lage.

The funeral ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Glad Tidings Church, 3001 S. Burlington Dr., Muncie, and will include military rites by Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard.  Cremation will follow.

Visiting hours are Thursday from 12 until 2 p.m. at the church.
