REDKEY – Kenneth Bullard, age 72, Redkey, died Monday evening at State Of The Heart Hospice Care Center, Greenville, OH, following an extended illness. Born in Dayton, Ohio on Dec. 25, 1942, he grew up in Clarkrange, TN, and moved to the Redkey area at age 17. He was self-employed for forty years doing home maintenance and repair, first operating as Kenny's Mobile Home Service then later as Bullard Home Service. He retired in 2012. Kenny was a hard worker who enjoyed spending time with family and attending his grandchildren's events. He also enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, and IU basketball.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Shirley (Jacobs) Bullard, and their children: Keith Bullard (wife: Kristie), Dunkirk, and Kristy Rodeffer (husband: Jon), Redkey; a sister: Genelga Curtis, GA; a brother: Clyde Bullard (wife: Annette), Clarkrange, TN; 3 grandchildren: Kaylee Rodeffer, Konner Rodeffer, and Karlie Bullard; a step granddaughter: Breanna Eldridge; a step great-granddaughter: Braelyn Eldridge, and several nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe & Ethel (Page) Bullard; 2 infant daughters: Lisa Lynn & Kandy Sue Bullard; 3 brothers, and 4 sisters: Claude, Carl, Bobby, Betty, Shelby Jean, Judy, and Wanda.
Services will be 7 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany. A private graveside service will follow.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
