Kathy (Jefferis) King Hodge, age 60, Albany, died Saturday November 28, 2020 at home following an illness.  Born in Muncie February 22, 1960, she graduated from Delta High School in 1978.  Kathy retired recently from IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital where she worked in Environmental Services for 30+ years.  She attended Albany Nazarene Church in prior years, was a kind soul, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include a son: David King, Albany; daughter: Jenn Wagner (partner: Greg Hart), Albany; four brothers: Robert L. Jefferis (wife: Judy), Muncie, Jerry E. Jefferis (wife: Diane), MA, Larry Joe Jefferis (wife: Ellen), MA, and Gene R. Jefferis (partner: Fred Kettery), Alexandria; sister: Jane A. Bergdoll (husband: Charles), Albany; four grandchildren: Nathan, Landon, Sophia, and Wyatt.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Edgar R. & Harriett L. (Miller) Jefferis; a brother: Timothy A. Jefferis, and a sister: Sharon L. Booher.

Services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2020 at Meacham Funeral Service.  Cremation will follow.

Visiting hours are Sunday from 6 until 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
