MILLGROVE – Karen S. Lehman, age 66, died Tuesday morning at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.  Born in Muncie on Nov. 8, 1945, she grew up in Pennville and had lived in Muncie and Albany before moving to the Millgrove area in Blackford County.  She retired in 2008 from Littler Diecast Corp., Albany, after working there for nearly 25 years; she also worked at Indiana Glass in Dunkirk for 15 years.  Karen was full of love and a very caring person.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, crocheting and planting flowers.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Dean Lehman; 2 sons: Barry Barger (wife: Doris), Dunkirk and Brad Barger (fiancé: Michelle Gregg), Dunkirk; 2 daughters: Belinda Stouder (fiancé: Brian York), Eaton and Angie Morris (husband: Marc), Hartford City; her mother: Polly A. Denney, Albany; 2 brothers: Tom Denney (wife: Linda), Graham, WA and Daniel Denney (wife: Connie), Albany; 2 sisters: Shirley Minton (husband: Lee), Jackson, GA and Connie Meier (husband: Robert), Galena, MO; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel H. Denney, and her mother-in-law, Thelma M. Lehman.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany, with burial following at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
