ALBANY – Kameron Michael Todd Bates, age 17, Albany, gained his angel wings Tuesday March 6, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.  Born in Anderson on Nov. 24, 2000, he grew up in Madison and Delaware County.

Survivors include his parents: Dusty & Heather Bates, Albany; a sister: Emily Jo Bates, Albany; grandparents: Ron & Kandi Goodman, Chesterfield, Doug & Lynn Hudson, Muncie, and Scott & Nikki Bates, Anderson; uncle & aunt: Jason & Jen Bates, Alabama.  He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

He is preceded in death by grandmother: Jo Nell (Youngblood) Goodman; his uncle: Jeremy Todd Youngblood and great-grandparents: Norman Youngblood and Ervena Stanley.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday March 11, 2018 from 2 until 4 p.m. at Meacham Funeral Service with a memorial service beginning at 4 p.m. officiated by Todd Castor.
