Former Albany resident Judith E. Stanley, age 78, passed away January 1, 2018 at Banner Desert Hospital in Mesa, Arizona after being admitted one week earlier for COPD exacerbation.  Born in Saginaw, Michigan Judith lived most of her adult years in Muncie and Albany.  Judith was a retired nurse; she and her husband, Jack, were members of Moose Lodge #33, Muncie.

Survivors include a daughter: Cynthia Duncan, Maricopa, AZ; two sons: Jeffrey Stanley, Savannah, GA, and Mark Stanley (wife: Sherri), Ridgeville; a sister: JoAnn Tarras and her son, Roger, MI; three grandchildren: Joel Majors (wife: Jessica), Ft. Wayne, Seth A. Stanley, and Shae A. Stanley; two great-grandchildren: Jackie A. Stanley, Abigail Rain Stanley, and several nieces & nephews.

Judith is preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Jack Stanley, and their son: Randy L. Stanley.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Meacham Funeral Service.  She will be buried next to her husband at Strong Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held from 10 until 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
