ALBANY – Joyce (Zigler) Norris, age 63, Albany, died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday from natural causes.  She was born in Muncie on July 17, 1951, and grew up in Albany.  She graduated from Albany High School in 1969 and had lived in Florida for a few years before returning to Albany.  Joyce was a certified surgical technician and worked in the health field for several years.  She was fond of animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed attending her grandchildren's events; in earlier years bowled in a league and boated.

Survivors include two sons: Troy Paille (special friend: Julie Cline), Albany, and Doug Morgan (wife: Jodi), Albany; two sisters: Linda Roberts (husband: Ron), Muncie, and Connie Lemert (husband: Randy), Ft. Wayne; five grandchildren: Troy Ryland, Blake, Alana, Tyler, and Zachary; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby & Phyllis Zigler.

Services will be 7 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2015, at Meacham Funeral Service.  Cremation will follow.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
