REDKEY – Josephine F. Brown, age 77, Redkey, passed away Friday morning after a brief stay at Albany Health Care. Born in Logansport on February 23, 1933, her parents were John Jacob and Lena (Utterback) Brown. She was a former member of the Eagles Lodge and attended Redkey Faith Ministries.

She is survived by her daughter: Janet Amundson (husband: Jack), Redkey; 2 brothers: Bill Brown (wife: June) and Ron Brown, both of Lafayette; 3 sisters: Eulah Jaynes, Crawfordsville, Betty Flickinger (husband: Gordon), Lafayette, and Patty Barnhart (husband: Butch), Rensselaer; 2 grandsons: Jake Williams (wife: Becky), Redkey, and Bob Williams (wife: Faith), Union City, IN; a great-granddaughter: Eaven Williams, and several nieces & nephews.

Her parents and several siblings are deceased.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday April 29, 2010 at Redkey Faith Ministries, 9811 W. State Road 67, Redkey, with Pastor Joe Hines officiating.
