Obituary

ALBANY – Jordan Tyler Lucy, age 29, Albany, died Wednesday Oct. 30, 2013, near his home in Albany.  Born in Galesburg, IL on Oct. 24, 1984, he grew up in Missouri & Indiana and moved to Albany in 2001.  He graduated from Delta High School in 2003 where he was a four year Varsity letterman in wrestling.  Jordan developed a love and skill of cooking and worked at various restaurants in the area including Vince's and Amazing Joe's.  He was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed animals and being outdoors.  He was a member of East 16th Street Church of God in Muncie where his father pastors.

Survivors include his parents, Pastor Douglas C. & Deena Lucy, Albany; a brother: Blake A. Lucy, Albany; 2 sisters: Tara L. Lucy, Eaton, and Allison P. Adams (husband: Eric), Albany; maternal grandparents: James & Loretta Brase, Sikeston, MO; his cherished nieces & nephews: Savannah Burgess, Parker Burgess, Emmaline Adams, Isaiah Adams, Aric Lucy, and many beloved uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Richard Lucy & Dorothy White, and two cousins: Jake Brase and Griffin Brase.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany, with cremation to follow.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
