GASTON – Jeremy Myles Johnson, age 23, Gaston, was born in Muncie August 1, 1991.  After being missing for several months he was found deceased in Indianapolis on June 12, 2015.  He worked various jobs in the area including Bullock and Alaska Heating & Cooling.  Jeremy enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, and being outdoors.

Survivors include his mother: Lisa (Johnson) Goeglein (husband: Nile), Albany, and father: John C. Johnson, Jr., Muncie; step-mother: Tabatha Morton), Muncie; a brother: John C. Johnson III, Gaston; maternal grandmother: Linda (Elliott) Brown (husband: Jim), Gaston; paternal grandfather: John Johnson, Sr., Muncie; step-sister: Lindsey Morton, Muncie; step-brother: Ritchie Morton, Muncie; step-niece: Abi Morton, Muncie; four aunts: Lori Elliott, Muncie, Sherri Ogle (husband: Stevie), Winchester, Rhonda Johnson, Yorktown, and Anna Thompson (husband: Toby), Muncie; an uncle: Greg Johnson, Muncie, and many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Dan Elliott and paternal grandmother: Carolyn Johnson.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 1 until 4 p.m. at Meacham Funeral Service, Albany.

Services will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday at Black Cemetery with burial following.
